The 2015 conference and expo for the National Emergency Number Association (NENA) was held in Denver, Colorado from June 27th through July 2nd. Thousands attended what is known as the event-of-the-year in emergency communications, and members of the RapidSOS team were excited to join them.
CEO Michael Martin and Product Manager Alex Santana represented RapidSOS at NENA 2015, meeting with experienced leaders of the 911 community and sharing their transformative technology which was built in conjunction with 100+ Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs).

Over 100 exhibitors filled the conference’s Expo Hall to display their innovations in emergency communications.
The RapidSOS booth invited visitors to speak with Michael and Alex and learn more about the RapidSOS suite of products.
Visitors had a chance to interact with the RapidSOS One-Touch 911 beta that is being tested by hundreds of users across North America.
A looping visual showcased RapidSOS’s suite of products: RapidSOS Predict, RapidSOS GeoAlert, and RapidSOS One-Touch 911.

Getting to NENA 2015 was an event in itself – Michael drove a Kia Soul to the convention center while jammed against the steering wheel with a 70″ television in the back.
A very large blue bear stood outside the convention center…
…and watched things happening inside.
After a long day’s work in the Expo Hall, Michael and Alex recuperated in their homely Airbnb.
