Who is Pink Lotus Technologies?
With the mission to find solutions for common problems through technology, I founded Pink Lotus Technologies, a product development company based in Orlando, Florida and the producer of POMM®, a wearable technology product that aims to better protect children.
What challenge is Pink Lotus Technologies aiming to solve?
The big challenge for us is that most people do not realize the harmful situations our children may face everyday. It is estimated that over 8 million children annually in the US end up in a hospital due to accidents, near drowning, caregiver abuse, or kidnapping. We hope to bring more awareness to child safety in America.
What is the Pink Lotus Technologies and RapidSOS solution?
The POMM safety platform partnership with RapidSOS allows users to send rich incident location and additional information to RapidSOS Ready Emergency Communication Centers (ECCs) across the country in the case of an emergency. Beyond accurate location information, RapidSOS also supports sharing emergency intelligence data such as the POMM users’ profile information (i.e. name, age, gender, height, eye color, hair color), allergies, emergency contact information, and dynamic vital signs (i.e., heart rate) to increase the amount of data first responders can obtain during a call. This empowers faster and more effective emergency response and provides first responders with the critical information they need to protect lives.
Why did Pink Lotus Technologies become RapidSOS Ready?
The mission of POMM is to help protect children everywhere and the best way to do that is to give our paramedics, police and firefighters as much data as possible before they arrive on the scene. This can only be done using the incredible technology established by RapidSOS and we’re so thankful to have a partnership with RapidSOS.
The goal of the POMM partnership from the very beginning was to be able to connect our life-saving data to over 5,200 ECCs to allow us to better protect our POMM families and potentially save a child’s life.
What is Pink Lotus Technologies looking forward to in this partnership?
By partnering with RapidSOS, Pink Lotus can allow families nationwide, from everywhere from big cities to small towns, to access critical 911 services and share life-saving data with first responders if and when needed.
