Every year during the Thanksgiving season, we like to take a moment away from the busy day-to-day to reflect on the past year and all the things we have to be thankful for. While the list could go on forever, here were the top 5 things we are thankful for as voted on by the RapidSOS team!

1. The Public Safety Community

From providing feedback on our technology, to giving us invaluable insight into how to make our product better for call-takers, dispatchers, and responders, we wouldn’t be where we are today without the support and expertise of the public safety community. Thank you to our public safety friends for all that you have done, and continue to do, for us — we can’t wait to continue working together to make your jobs easier in any way we can!

2. Our Advisors

This year we had the honor of welcoming 9 new members to our Advisory Board! Our advisors provide advice and guidance to our team as we work to provide a direct data link from any connected device to Public Safety.

3. Our Non-Profit Partners

Over the past year we have welcomed over a dozen organizations to our growing list of non-profit partners who are providing RapidSOS technology solutions to members of their communities. We are humbled by all the work our partners do and we hope that our technology will provide peace of mind that help is always one touch away.

4. Our Emergency Platform Partners

We are thankful to all of our IoT partners, from wearables to mobile apps to connected car, who are offering RapidSOS emergency functionality to their customers. These partners are leading the way in using rich data from connected devices to improve response times and provide unprecedented situational awareness around emergencies.

5. Our New Team Members

It is incredible to be part of a team that is not only dedicated and hard-working, but is passionate, mission-focused, and even enjoys having a good time together. In the past year, RapidSOS has nearly doubled in size and we are thankful for all of our new team members who are helping us achieve our mission of building transformative technology to save lives.
