In pursuit of their mission to protect every child, every school, every day, Raptor Technologies sought a partner that would seamlessly integrate Raptor Alert, their mobile emergency management software, into a decentralized, locally run emergency response system.

Partnering with RapidSOS

Raptor Technologies partnered with RapidSOS to establish a direct connection between their Raptor Alert app and law enforcement after recognizing RapidSOS’ nationwide ECC coverage and capability to scale across tens of thousands of school districts. By connecting their data through RapidSOS, Raptor Technologies provides ECCs with an aggregate of all information related to an active threat into a single, unified view.

How it works

1. An Active Assailant alert is initiated on the Raptor Alert mobile app.
2. RapidSOS Alert is automatically sent to the primary ECC, sharing location and incident data.
3. Primary ECC, 911, and mutual aid agencies are immediately notified of the Active Assailant alert, via RapidSOS UNITE.
4. Emergency response is dispatched as telecommunicator shares data with first responders.

Results

The enhanced data connected to 911 via RapidSOS enables first responders to determine the exact location of the emergency, providing them with the context they need to properly respond while reducing response times, and helps keep our schools safe.
