    Vismo, a leading provider of employee safety solutions, sought to enhance the safety and security of their more than 450,000 global App users. To do so, Vismo was looking to provide their clients, including lone and mobile workers, with the ability to connect with 24/7 safety agents during anxious or unsafe moments and 911 and first responders during
    immediate emergency situations.

    Partnering with RapidSOS

    Supporting organizations in the USA, Vismo partnered with RapidSOS to establish a direct connection between the Vismo Locate & Protect App, RapidSOS’ team of 24/7 Safety Agents, and 911.

    Through this connection, Vismo provides lone and mobile workers with faster, more immediate access to safety and security at the touch of a button.

    How it works

    1. A Panic Alert is initiated on the Vismo Locate & Protect App

    2. The Vismo Locate & Protect App will automatically send the user’s name, contact information, precise location and a 10-second audio clip of the ensuing situation to RapidSOS Safety Agents

    Results

    By integrating Vismo’s GPS tracking technology with RapidSOS’s platform, emergency service providers receive real-time location data, leading to faster response times and improved situational awareness.

    Through this partnership, Vismo also receives the RapidSOS Ready designation and joins a network of companies sharing data through the RapidSOS Platform with public safety to provide faster, data-enriched emergency response.

    Any response delay can be costly or put the employee at greater risk. Our partnership sees Vismo use RapidSOS technology to address this issue and gather data and information to provide extra context to an incident. In return, app users are better protected with a more immediate and appropriate response.
